It’s a Two-Fer!!! “Ana & Elsa” from “Stripology Quickies” by Gudrun Erla Wow! This is the third class utilizing the book “Stripology Quickies” by Gudrun Erla! And to make this class even more special, it’s a two-fer!!! We will be making 2 for 1! (Cutting both quilts at once and using cut off pieces for a second quilt. This is a 2 day extravaganza! Come join in the fun with Ruth as she helps you prepare these 2 quilts for Christmas, Charity, or whatever your heart desires!!!

This is the second year of our Dear Jane Journey! You can hop in and join us if you have ever started a “Dear Jane” quilt and had it stalled out? Or, if you always wanted to make a “Dear Jane” quilt but never know how to start? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then join Ruth Davis and friends for “Journaling With Jane” class. This class is not for the faint of heart… Each month you will be given 8 blocks and 4 triangles to make. (2 blocks and 1 triangle per week.) You can show your completed blocks at the class and be celebrated for your accomplishment! Ruth will be emailing paper pieced patterns to all students for the next month following each class. You should be familiar with paper piecing, although a free refresher class may be offered if there is interest. For those who are joining for 2026 and did not take part in 2025, you will be able to get the patterns from last year emailed to you so you can continue your journey or finish in 2026!

Come join us for this fun, "cut up" class! In this 3 part series, you will learn how to take 7 identical panels, and create a panel masterpiece! 6 of the panels will be used to make up half-hexagons in One Block Wonder blocks which will be placed around the 7th panel. We will be using a 60 degree ruler, (or a Stripology ruler if you have it) to make 6 unilateral triangles. From there, the fun begins! Pick your panels and plan on a full day of fun. Bring your lunch so we can spend most of the time cutting! *No set in seams were harmed for this project! We do only straight seam sewing!!!

Enjoy a wreath of flowers with RING AROUND THE POSIES. This pattern uses a Jelly Roll (or 2 1/2" pieces) to construct the flowers and leaves. They are arranged in a section and then 4 sections are repeated and rotated around the open center. Accent corners and inner sashing compliment the wreath shape. The center of the wreath offers a wonderful space for creative quilting if desired. This class is part of The Cut-Ups Series from Caroline. The sky has the potential to be the most exciting element to enhance and energise any landscape. With its endless capacity for change, it is the most flexible compositional tool that you can experiment with. I have found that whatever colour palette or style I choose, when I place the sky fabric in the position of the sky in my design, it will read as sky. Rhythm is defined as a combination of elements repeated but with variation. In this workshop we will play with repetition and pattern, decorating our sky to add movement and interest. So, we have permission to play. We will begin to create our skies by overpainting some interesting commercial fabrics and then decorate these areas with a series of repeated shapes. Once the sky is constructed and quilted, we will add our foreground with a number of techniques for creating landforms, areas of water, rocks, and trees outlined.
